I was shocked when I finished Blood match. I don't know who wasn't when they read the final chapter. When this book arrived at my Kindle, I stopped the book I was reading and picked this up because I wanted to find out what happened and if Reyna was wrong about what she saw. I wanted to see if and how she was going to win the war. I didn't know what to expect because after the ending of the second book everything seemed possible, even Reyna's death. I am in the happy place to say that I was satisfied with the way the author decided to end the series. It wasn't ideal because the enemy is a tough one who knows what he is doing and has an army, but I do feel like it was the best possible end we could get. I was happy with a certain death though because I never liked that person and I think a lot of the readers will find it satisfying. I found the pace to be just right for the story and I loved the twist the author threw at us when it came to the vampires and their survival. You have to read the book and see what I mean. If you gave up the series after finishing the second book I think you should reconsider and pick Blood cure. It's a good ending for the series. I wish we had a longer epilogue, showing us how Reyna was doing with her life one or two years after everything that happened instead of six months. Still, I was ok with the epilogue as it was.
