Xavier Cold is one of the books I had to wait for a very long time. I, for one, don't mind that. I knew that good things don't come fast and you have to wait for them. Unfortunately, I can't say that the two year wait was worth it. Don't get me wrong, I liked this book, but I wanted and expected something more.
If you can remember book 1 ends with Xavier is getting arrested and going to jail. Book 2 starts from where we left things, but the whole "Xavier is in jail" thing ended too fast. The problem with this book is the rushed way things seemed to happening. Xavier Cold is approximately 100 pages less than Phenomenal X and that might have also decreased the quality of it. I
In this book I wanted to scream for someone to see who assassin really was and do something about it. There is drama in Anna and Xavier's relationship that I am sure we could live without, but it was tolerable since it wasn't much and these two needed to work some things out. Xavier Cold, wasn't a bad book, but it definitely could have been better.
