Review:

This book is a 21rt century version of Pride and Prejudice.It's very to see the similarities between those two books.The similarities are the names(Elise Benton-Elizabeth Bennet and Derek's sister Georgia-Mr. Darcy's sister Georgiana)the plot,the end making a little predictable the book without making it boring.It's an easy read and if you like pride and prejudice you will like this one too

Elise Benton moves with her family to California and with her sister Julliana continue their education to a new high school where their mother is the principle.There Juliana mets Chase and they immediately have a connection.Elise is forced to sit with her,Chase and Chase's friend Derek at lunch.Derek is a little hostile to everyone else and that makes Elise to dislike him and later refuse to go to the dance with him.She meets Webster and they start hanging out and he makes her believe Derek is the bad one between the two of them(reminds you any character?).Elise and Derek come closer when they realise that someone broke up Chase and Julliana's relationship.After that pretty much they start to become something more than friends(as you already have guessed,I guess).

I think everyone will enjoy this book(I know I did).The characters had a development,Elise stopped having prejudices and realised that everything is not what it seems and Derek stopped having so much pride and seeing in the other people that everyone wanted something from him or they hang out with him cause his parents are famous.The writing was very good and the book is definitely not a epic fail.

Review:

The series seems to go from worse to worse. I will state what I didn't like below.

Ever`s "friend" Heaven. She makes some appearances and there isn't a single one that you can see her acting as a good friend. I wanted to slap her most of the time. 

Was the triangle really necessary? We know that Damien and Ever are forever. Why Judd had to be a part of all this? he seemed good. Noel dont make me hate him. 

Ever's inability to do something right. Somehow every time she tries to help someone or cast a spell she messes up and as a result bad things happen.

I have a bad feeling for the story and the way it goes. I am afraid it`s going to get worse. Not many authors have the ability to do that.

Review:

I called Skye many names. Non of them was good or nice. She was mad at Devin for trying to kill her (which is excusable) but she didnt try to understand him. She knew that he had no option but she couldnt put two and two together and see that Devin never actually meant to hurt her, he was forced to.

I liked Devin from the first book, probably because he reminds me Daniel from Fallen. As it seems I am one of the few people who still like him. Team Devin! I had accepted thought that Asher was going to be the one for Skye after what happened. I thought the triangle did not exist anymore. I was so wrong. The author seemed to have a different opinion. And now I have hope again. Skye loves Asher but she can't erase Devin from her heart and mind.

I am 99% sure that Asher is hiding something and has an ulterior motive. I don't doubt his feelings but maybe his motivation a little. I can't place the reason exactly but I hope a little that I am wrong.

The pace was the same as the Beautiful dark slow first but in the end the hell broke loose.

Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3) by Suzanne Collins

Review:

After reading the mockingjay I still don't get why everyone seems to think that the Hunger Games trilogy is so great. Katniss is a pawn to game unknown to everyone with the exception of the two players.

Is it weird that I started liking Peeta after 2.5 books? He had to try to kill someone to make me like him. Gale was my favorite in the books. Katniss only managed to make me like her less than I already did. She was willingly an object for a war she wasn't allowed to be a part of. She stoped beign the Katniss who volunteered to take her sister's place and became a fragile person.

The triangle Kat/Peeta/Gale was really necessary? And what was that Eclipse like scene between Gale and Peeta? The books could have survived without a triangle.

I hated some deaths (one of them killed me). Remember there is a war in the book, so it goes without saying that some people will die. I just didn't want those people to die. That was cruel. I am sure that someone who is more into the trilogy than I am will need kleenex or something to break/hit. 

Catching fire is the best book in the trilogy.

All I Ever Wanted by Kristan Higgins

Review:

At the first half Ian and Callie meet 4 or 5 short times. How were they supposed to fall in love if if they didn't knew the other? I hated Fleur and the way Marked was portrait in Callie's head. He was a flawless God. I was more than happy to see him becoming a flawed human in the end and the guy from the Russian Mafia opening up a little and becoming warmer and nicer.

There is only Callie's point of view but after a little thinking I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't have worked if the author tried to get inside Ian's head. He is a difficult person to understand and read after all.

My review:

I couldn't see the chemistry between Andie and Brad. Instead I felt a pull for a guy she had met 22 years ago (I swear I hadn't seen the synopsis because I had no internet). I am glad she made the right decision when the time came. It was more the obvious what she should do. 

I liked the story but I wanted an epilogue. I was left wanting more of Andie and Jesse. But that's not an option with short stories so I had to suffice to what I had. What I also liked it the way Andie's life changes in just one day.

I have to say that this is the best of the series.It had the most action and of course Patch.Nora is kick ass in the end and I finaly liked Scott.It had an epilogue!How awesome is that?Even Marcie seemed good in this book.

For a moment I thought Nora and Dante will be moere than profesional but thank God that wasn't the case.It makes for good press. They might even call us Norante. Or Danta. Do you like the sound of that?”

“If I get caught, it’ll mean the end of kissing you. Do you really think I’d risk that?” His face grew serious. “I know I can’t feel your touch, but I feel your love, Nora. Inside me. It means everything to me.I wish I could feel you the same way you feel me, but I have your love. Nothing will ever outweigh that. Hello? Scott Parnell? A sweetheart? Was I the only one hearing the absurdity in all this?

I liked Scott and Vee as a couple.Too bad they didn't last.The cop may not appear in the book many times but what he does in the end for Patch and Nora made him one of the best archangels ever.

“Making sure you’re safe is more important to me than your goodwill. I don’t want to fight, but if you’re set on seeing me as the bad guy, so be it. Better that than lose you"

I couldn't resist reading the book when the greek edition would be released(who can wait until March?)and I read it yesterday.I am very glad I didn't wait.

“As soon as I know where we’re heading, I’ll meet you there. Do one last thing for me, Angel.”“Name it.”“I want to find you safe and sound when this is over"

Unlike Kate Lauren and Rapture Becca Fitzpatrick in Finale ended the series without leaving anything answered.Maybe Nora's mother but all the other people Nora,Patch,Vee,Scott,Marcie,Dante got what the deserve(Scott's case is special) even the war between the angels and the nephilims ended in the best possible way.

I never pictured my life so complete. I never thought I’d have everything I want.You’re everything to me,Angel.”His words filled my heart to the brim.I loved him in a way I’d never be able to express in words.He was part of me.And I was part of him.Tethered together for the rest of eternity.


This was it.Together.Forever.As we left it all behind,the sun warmed my back,lighting the way before us.I knew of no better omen.
