Part 1:

Here are some things you will need to know about this book. It's the first out of at least six installments. As one can expect, it ends with a cliffhanger and the whole story will be finished close to the end of 2018, so if you are not a fan of serials you should wait before you begin reading the Red ledger. This part is mostly an introduction to the characters and it scratches the surface of what is to come next. We don't know many things about what is going on and I want to find out what happened to Tristan all those years ago. I have to give points to Isabel for a) not sleeping with Kolt in the beginning of the book and b) acting like a normal person. I like her. The series looks promising and after having read the first two parts of it I will say to go for it and one click this book. 

Part 2

Guess what people, this book also ends with a cliffhanger and the wait for the third book is longer. Isn't that awesome. The only good thing about this ending is that both, Tristan and Isa, had a choice to do something and in Isa's case she wasn't forced to leave. Yey for having a choice. I don't want my main characters running around because someone forced their hand. I want to see them doing whatever they think is the best thing to do and fight the people who are after Isa. 

Thankfully we get some answers as to who is after Isa and is causing all that trouble and why. I hope there is more to that and we might get more clues in the next part. I want to see more intimate scenes with Tristan and Isa and find out what happened to him three years ago. I don't know what surprises the author has in store for us, but I hope they will be huge. It bad that the third part of the story won't be released within a week as this one did. This is the book that will either make you quit the series or keep you coming for more. 

Part 3

With the kind of ending this book had, I can understand why the author chose to separate the 2 volumes after the end of this part of the story. A big change happens at the end of this story and the characters are forced to take another direction in their lives. I don't want to say anything else because it might spoil the story, but when a door closes another one opens and in this case, I don't think that is for the best. Now, I want more than ever to see where the author wants to take the story and what will happen to Isabel and Tristan. They have been through a lot already in the three parts and their journey is far from over. I do wish that the author could publish each installment faster, but I understand that she is a human and has a life to live.
