It was supposed to be fun.
A mutual use of each other's bodies.
To be a ruse to the world around us.
I wanted to be free from my ex, and he wanted to escape his.
One drunken night turned a joke into a life-changing moment.
He warned me not to fall for him, and I should've listened.
He intoxicated me.
He made me crave him.
He ruined me.
In the end, I'll never be the same.

Drunk on you is a refreshing book. It has a light tone and humor while the sex scenes are hot and the scenes at Dirty delicious. It's the Magic Mike of the books. I loved the scenes in Dirty and I have one more reason to go and read Nate's book. I am regretting my decision to skip Nate's book and read Drunk on you because I loved seeing him and Ember so ridiculously in love with each other. They were a big part of the reasons why I loved the book. I would love to give a solid 5-star rating to the book, but there was one thing that tainted my reading and I cannot get over it. You see, I disliked how Nikki and Shane broke up. After a long time, I am taking the heroine's side because Shane acted like a douche, while Nikki was proving again and again how much she was different from the other girls (namely Lacey). Shane didn't groove enough. Everything was so perfect in the book and then this silly reason came up which really bothered me. I was expecting something more significant. If they hadn't broken up at all it would have been even better in my opinion. Maybe by having Nikki, do something unintentionally that would prove to Shane (and only him at that point) how much she loved and trusted him. Despite the taint, I would recommend the book without a second thought.
