Review:

I couldn't help but think of the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens while I was reading the book, I found a strong resemblance between the couple and their friends.

As I was progressing with the book I grew to like Ari more and more, but I still remember the quote that pissed me off and won't make her one of the nicest heroines on my list.

Grant hadn’t tried to stop me or come after me, so what did it matter if someone else got me back to my hotel?

I don't think that Take me with you will be the las book in the series for many reasons. Some parts of the story were left half finished and I don't believe that the author would end the series without a proper epilogue and not even a little hint on what is going to happen next. And I want to see Grant proposing to Ari.

If I exclude a couple of fights in the beginning, I could say that things went smoothly between Ari and Grant. I could see how great their relationship was. As long as they don't fight all the time I wouldn't mind seeing them more.

Here is what I didn't like:

-Aaron (much). He is judging Grant while we all know what he did on New Year's and he has probably done the same as Grant did..
- Donovan and Hollis. If you have read the first book you don't need an explanation. If you haven't I am just going to say that a few non friendly words can describe them.
- The mess Syd, Milles, McAvoy and all of Ari's friends have gotten into. Someone needs to untangle this mess and soon. I am not sure how everyone feels and at this point I am too afraid to ask.

I wanted to end this review with some lyrics of one of Grant's songs.

I'm and arrow
Aiming straight for your heart
Pierce the skin, take you in
It's tearing me apart

Love struck, dumbstruck
Can't think without you close
Can't even dream
Give me another dose.

So baby, I'll take you with me
Wherever I go
Just promise you'll take me with you
Wherever you go

I'll take you with me
Wherever I go
If you take me with you
Wherever you go

Take Me With You Teaser 1
Excerpt

Grant practically bounded across the room until he was directly in front of me. Then, his hands were cupping my cheeks so tenderly that it was as if he thought I might break in half. Without a word, his mouth dropped down on mine, and the kiss was as light as a feather. It was a question, a soft and delicate question, one he had never asked before—permission. When I didn’t pull away from him, he received his answer. The kiss deepened, and he coaxed all the anger out of me. He drew it out as if sucking venom from an open wound. He kissed me so heatedly and lovingly that not even a drop remained. All that was left was a bottomless well of emotions of how much I loved and missed him. When I came back into the moment, I heard the catcalls and yells from the people around us. It was then I remembered that we were in a crowded room, surrounded by people, and Grant had kissed the breath out of me. I flushed from head to toe at the attention, but he wouldn’t let me pull away. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I shouldn’t have blown up on you. I shouldn’t have done anything. You’re all that matters.” I stared up at him in confusion. “Who are you, and what have you done with Grant McDermott?” He laughed that beautiful glorious laugh, and a smile lit up his whole face. It was that damn smile that had won me over in the first place. “Run away with me,” he murmured. “What?” “Run away with me. Let’s get out of here.” “Where are we going?” “Anywhere. Everywhere.”

“So, what? You’re going to run away like always? Get drunk with Vin the Enabler?” I croaked.
My face was hot, and I could feel the tears springing to my eyes. I was so not this girl. I didn’t get upset about guys. I didn’t continually confront them in parking lots. Grant McDermott was turning me into such a typical girl, and I hated it. I could really use some of that indifference right about now.
Grant laughed hollowly. “Vin the Enabler. He’d probably like that nickname.”
“I don’t give a shit what he likes. He’s a prick who tried to drug me at the beginning of the year!” I ran my hands back through my hair and then brushed the tears from my cheeks. “I’m sorry. This isn’t about Vin. I want what’s best for you.”
“The best thing for me right now is to go blow off some steam.”
I opened my mouth to tell him that I’d go with him, but he held up his hand.
“Alone, Princess. I have to deal with this my own way.”
“Fine. If you want to be alone, we can be alone together.”
