Work Violation is the second book in the Cook County series by B.J. Harvey. The main characters are Ronnie and Jaxon who is Jamie's brother (from Work in progress). Ronnie was a lawyer, but she realized that it wasn't the profession she wanted to have and she decided to do what she wants and not what her family wanted her to do. Jax is teaching photography lessons and she happens to be his student which leads them to a forbidden professor/student relationship. Not exactly, though. Ronnie was prepared for the fallout as a lawyer should be and was very proper. I liked that about her. I liked how both of them handled the situation and they acted like mature adults, which was great. I didn't want to see them have a fight about that and I was so glad they didn't.
The book was just as good as the previous one and I am a big fan of the series. The author did a great job with the characters, their development and the evolution of their relationship. They are people who went for what they wanted and they fought for it. I couldn't ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend the book.
