Sonata is the third book in the North Security series by Skye Warren and the end to Samantha and Liam's relationship. Fear not though, cause there is a fourth book in the series! Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Liam and Samantha's relationship is on an unstable ground most of the book and she even kisses another man. I remembered leaving things in a better place when Concerto ended, but maybe my memory is no so good.
For days I was doing a mini countdown in my brain for the moment this book would hit my kindle, so one can say that I was very excited for Sonata. I couldn't get attached to the story for some reason and no matter how much I tried, I couldn' love the story as much as I loved the previous books. Some parts were too slow and others too fast and I would have liked a little more focus on the suspense aspect of the book. Liam's change of heart was also rushed. He is like "No, Samantha, no" for 99% of their trilogy and then suddenly he is like "Let's have forever together".
Sadly, as you gathered, I didn' like the book much, but it doesn't deserve less than three stars in my opinion since I liked some parts of the book and it wasn't awful, just not as good as the other two books which were 5-star reads for me
