Three years after Unexpected Reality comes Unexpected Fight the second book in Kaylee Ryan's Unexpected Arrivals series. Don't worry, it's a stand-alone, but I have to admit that the beginning was a little abrupt for my taste. The blurb doesn't reveal much, so I will go a little beyond the info it provides us. You see, the story is about Ty and Reagan. Reagan is Ridge's sister from book 1 and Ty is his best friend, which made the book belong in one of my favorite genres. Their story goes beyond your average happily ever after, but I can't reveal anything else.
Halfway through the book, I started to wonder what kind of monstrosities the author had planned for our characters because things were going so well and if had ended the book then, I would have felt like I had read a complete story. Well, that's when the blurb kicks in and an emotional journey began for our characters. I was not disappointed by what the author planned for them and I was a little shocked by some things I read. No worries, there is nothing that might trigger someone. We just see what the characters are fighting and it was very realistic to be honest so kudos to the author.
Unexpected Fight was one of the best books I read in a while and I would definitely recommend it.
