Review:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

In Case You Didn't Know is the third book in the Magnolia Sound series by Samantha Chase and my least favorite. Still, I find the 4 stars to be the fairest rating and it does say a lot. I had a problem with Scarlett. She was very judgemental and prejudiced against Mason and he did nothing to deserve it. He wasn't a snob, he didn't flaunt his money and he was down to earth. So having Scarlett treat him badly for that was no a fun thing for me to read about. Just because he had money doesn't mean that his childhood is perfect and from the previous books we knew that his parents were suffocating him. I will have to admit that financially wise, her childhood was awful, but she has a family that loves her. Another thing I didn't understand is why she felt like she needed to be a girly girl. She was good as she already was. As time passes she overcomes those feelings and she became a person one would want to have around. Mason was a very good book boyfriend and he won me over early on. He got everything he deserved and I was so happy to see him be the person his grandfather wanted him to be.

I would have loved to have more romantic moments. Or at least moments when they were in a relationship because Scarlett and Mason have many ups and downs and there is a lot of chasing. Overall though, I had a positive impression of the story and I was happy with what I read hence the 4 stars. I am recommending the book.

Don't miss the rest of the Magnolia Sound series!
