Sunkissed days is a prequel story to Remind me and it's book 0.5 in a brand new series by Samantha Chase.
The events of this story happen 6 years before the main story when Mallory and Jake are still young and everything is good. I would have preferred to give them a happy ending by the end of this book and continue the series with other people. I really liked them together and I am kind of dreading to see what happened to them during these years. I just hope that drama won't be the main element of book one. I have hope in the author though.
The story is an introduction to the characters and their background and it was good. I will certainly read the full length book. This one might be short but it got me invested in the series.
