The book was good, but not good enough. It had a good pace, but it had too many plotlines that were dragging it into different directions and didn't leave any room for one of them to blossom. Becca and Bronson's arranged marriage wasn't a source of angst or romance. From start 'till the end, I got the same feeling from these two. The kids that enter Bronson's life also don't get enough spotlight so we didn't get to see the four of them becoming a family. I could say that I feel like the author tried to write a great book, but wasn't able to achieve it. Too many things were thrown together in a small room and it didn't work. The book wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It leans towards the good side though. The author is new to me, so maybe I am not adjusted to her writing. I will give one of her other books a try and judge then.
