Rating 5 out of 5 stars
Royally yours is a prequel story and not a continuation of the series. It's a beautiful story and I enjoyed it. A lot of people are dying and it was unsettling since this is a romance novel, but I guess since Lenora has to become the queen someone else must die.
Some chapters in the beginning are just Lenora's journey and we see some important moments of her life that shape her into the person she is when she meets Edward. Their journey is not always pretty, but I liked it. There was some weird argument towards the end that seemed out of place, but I loved the way Edward handled the situation. Lenora and Edward's relationship is solid and I got the feeling that they were meant to last which I don't get often. I liked them both as individuals and as a couple. Lenora is going to be a great queen and I loved her.
