Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Part 6 is over and all I can think is that part 9 needs to be the final chapter. I am feeling like we are running around in circles and that the characters need to find some peace of mind. I would like a part dedicated to them just trying to have a normal relationship. The stuff happening here made me worry about the place were Isabel and Tristan stand. Right now, I wouldn't call what these two have a romantic relationship. They are heading in a dark direction and the re-appearance of a certain character was not to my liking. I hope that things won't get too complicated. I just want to see them go through everything they have to, to solve this mess and be able to live a semi-normal life since I don't think that a normal life is in the books for them. 

The book has some action and Tristan and Isabel made some progress with their quest, but I found my thoughts focusing only on the romantic part of the story. I am not sure as to where I stand with the series and I think that is starting to losing me as a fan.
