When a child’s game goes delightfully wrong, Jude finds himself rethinking his current status quo. Jude finds himself strangely looking to Annette to make sense of his own life. Suddenly, her artwork is completely changed with Jude’s exquisite lines transforming her landscapes. Up until now, their life was like a notebook full of doodles, but it’s turning into a full-fledged art showing, and neither of them know how to deal with the embers of desire when they ignite into flames.Amazon | Amazon UK | Kobo | iTunes | Barnes and Noble

Review:
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
When my app asked me to rate this book I immediately thought "3 meh stars", so that's my final rating for the book. I have come to the conclusion that I am in a book funk and this book might be a victim of it. I just couldn't concentrate on it and it didn't leave me with a good impression or a bad one, to be honest. I didn't have any trouble finishing the book, but I disliked two parts of the story. The first part was when Jude tried to help Annette with her paintings and called his ex for help since she owns a gallery. Both women made such a huge out of it when they first saw each other and the only thing Jude wanted was to help Annette. She got very mad at him and then the ex also got mad at him and I just felt bad for the poor guy. The second part is the one where Annette finds out that something bad had happened to Jude and doesn't seem to care that much. I was expecting something more dramatic, something that could convince me that she actually cared for the guy and that he was the love of her life. After writing this review I came to the conclusion that I disliked Annette. I am always harsh on my heroines because when I read a book I become them and this one was not very close to the person who I want to be. I liked that she tried to be independent and got away from everything in order to achieve that, but that's as far as my liking of her goes. Jude was much better as a character and book boyfriend material.
