Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Definite was a frustrating book. To be more specific, Lauren was frustrating. A lot. I was already mad at her, by the time I reached chapter 3. She was pushing Tristian away when the only thing he was doing was putting all his effort into showing her how much she meant to him. She was just assuming that Tristian wouldn't want to deal with some things and he would be out of her life. I, who knew him for a very short time, knew that he would never do what Lauren thought he would and she, a person who has spent a lot of time with him, thought the worst of him. I could understand some of her hesitation, but not all of it and that made the whole reading experience worse. She didn't have a past or something else to support her irrational way of thinking. Tristian spent the whole book proving that he was a worthy man. He deserved someone and something better. He had to deal with Lauren's irrationality. After a while, the story improved and things got better for me, which is the reason why my final rating is 4 stars instead of the 2 I felt like giving for one-third of the book.
