Rescuing Casey
Delta Force Heroes Book 7
Release Date January 16th, 2018

One-minute Casey Shea was minding her own business, doing her job, teaching entomology to college students, and the next she was in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle fighting for her life. Troy “Beatle” Lennon had watched his friends fall head over heels in love, but never thought it would happen to him. Until he sees a picture of one of his teammates’ sisters. That was it. The absolute joy in her eyes calls to him in a way he can't understand. But that joy is currently being threatened by an unknown person who’d had Casey kidnapped and hidden deep in the jungle. It’s up to Beatle to find her and keep her safe until the threat against her can be neutralized. Surviving the dangers of the jungle turns out to be the easy part…staying ahead of the killer is much more complicated…and deadly.

**Rescuing Casey is the 7th book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Review:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Rescuing Casey was a good book. It had some great twists and it kept me engaged. The main characters had good chemistry and it helped me get over the insta-lust/love they had. The circumstances in which they meet under are not ideal, but the whole setting worked for me. Uncovering the reasons why Casey was abducted was one of the best parts of the book. It added more to the story. I was very satisfied with the whole book. The story was good and it had a nice flow. My only complain when it comes to this book was the epilogue because it teased us for all the upcoming couples and the one couple I wanted to read the most about is the last one to get a happy ending.  Truck and Mary's story was the one mentioned the most since Truck is on the team that stayed with Casey and he liked to talk about his Mary. I need them to get their happy end soon. And I hope it will be as drama free as this book was. Casey didn't show any signs of having any psychological trauma after everything she went through. I would have liked to see what effects the whole situation had on Casey on a less superficial level, but still, the story worked for me and I liked it.
