Except when that man turns out to be Logan Reid, the host of a popular sketch show—and Cassie has just been

night together couldn’t hurt.

Review:
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
Getting Hot with the Scot is the first book in the Sometimes in Love series by Melonie Johnson. From what I gathered the series will feature one group of female friends and in each book one of them will find love. First is Cassie and her man is Logan. The blurb covers the explanation of their jobs very well, so I won't bother with them. They were an interesting couple, but I couldn't always understand why there was so much conflict between them. They were on and off plenty of times and basically for the same reason every time. After a point, I got more interested in a secondary plot which will be become the main in the second book aka Theo and Bonnie. The author teased us so much about these two and I was starting to get frustrated from all the time jumps in the book because it meant that even though the MCs had met, one of them was engaged to another man and the other one was in England, doing I don't even know what. In the end, I got more invested in Theo and Bonnie than I was in Logan and Cassie.
On the plus side, the book was easy to read despite the frustration and I got invested unlike some other books I read recently.
