Book Blurb:
“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?”
That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.
Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.
I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.
Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was—unfinished business.
I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did.
Everything was going great—until we discovered I was his son’s teacher.

Review:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

One thing you can expect while reading this book is a lot of texts between Monty and Robbie. And when I say a lot, I mean like half of the book is just texts. I didn't mind that since I saw it as dialogue. What I would have liked to see though where the pics they were sending each other because in one or two cases we didn't even know what the picture was about and the characters were talking about it without letting us know what they were talking about. There is one dirty pick though so we could have skipped that image because it could have been weird.

I was waiting and waiting for Monty to find out that Xavier was Robbie's son but the school year doesn't even begin for 60% of the book and I was waiting for some time for that part of the plot. I was expecting that to happen sooner in order to move the plot forward but the author decided to let Robbie and Monty develop a stronger relationship and make everything more realistic. So I couldn't mind that. I would have liked to see Monty interacting with Xavier beside the one scene we got. She is going to be his future step-mother and he is a great kid so a couple more scenes with them would have been fun.

I loved Robbie's friend, Zach. He is a fun person and I liked him a lot. I might even go and read his book one day (no time atm). Zoe is the heroine from the other book that's connected to this one, but we don't see her much. I liked Denny, Monty's sister, and I would like to see her book.

On a final note, I wanna say one thing. The author must be a fan of Monty Python and we had a couple of puns in the book which were fun.
