Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

I must admit that I was prejudiced when I started reading the book. I hated Megan from the first book in the series. The logical part of my brain knows that Megan is the last person I should be mad at *cough*Reece*cough*, but for me, it still was a bitter experience. I tried to be the better woman until I read the reminder of that fateful night around 30% and I gave up on trying to like the story. The fact that the book was on the short side didn't help at all because I couldn't connect with Parker and Megan. I am not even 100% sure how they went from two people who only knew each other to been in love. It's mediocre at best and that was a disappointing fact. The characters were well built though and I liked how Megan didn't jump to silly conclusions in the end. I have high hopes for the next book. I already want to read it and see how the next couple will overcome the obstacles the author will throw at them. As the review ends I wanna say that I had negative emotions before I even began the book due to Down on Me (book 1 in the series), so my review is a tad influenced. Please also note that I had predicted in my review of the first book that Megan would get her own story. These things have become a little predictable.
