I’ve never been happier than I am with Jackson Steele. But I should know better than anyone that happiness always comes at a price ...
My life with Jackson is nothing short of perfection. He is my love, my husband, the one man in all the world who makes me feel alive and whole. Our careers are on track. Our family is growing. And the ghosts of our past have been vanquished – or so I believed.
When a wonderful night of sensuality and passion following a masquerade ball turns dark with the news that haunting, horrible photographs of me have surfaced, my old fears and insecurities threaten to knock me down, and it is only within Jackson’s arms that I find the strength to endure.
But even Jackson’s protection may not be able to save us, because I know my husband well. And he will do whatever it takes—even if it means risking himself—in order to protect our family…

Review :
Take my dare takes place one year after the birth of Sylvia and Jackson's son. You can read a short story about the day he was born in the end of the book. Sylvia and Jackson live happily at their home with their two kids until the day Sylvia's past resurfaces. In this novella you can see how strong Sylvia is and her growth as a character. Jackson is still the over protective alpha male I remembered him being.
The book has some very steamy scenes and a scene at the masquerade ball that will make you hot and heavy. It's always good to revisit some of the characters I love and I am happy Anchor me will be released next year. I would have liked for this book to have more pages and a scene where the four of them are a happy little family doing nothing but enjoying their time together. This might not be my favorite addition to the Stark universe, but it was good.
