Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
JC loves two things. Art and women. Even though both he and Lib work in the world of art the focus is on JC's past conquests. It was spammed so many times that if became tiring after a point. Ok, we got it, JC had a different woman in his bed every night, you don't have to repeat it. The funny thing is that Lib mentions once that she had more lovers than she count count on her fingers, but that was forgotten and we only focused on JC. Lib is a very interesting character and makes up for the fact that JC isn't. She is fierce and feisty. I was glad when she didn't fall for JC's advances when he first came on to her. I loved the story behind the painting and the necklace. I wish we had gotten the chance to see more of it. Lib and JC took their time getting together and when they did, Lib was dating someone else. I liked that it created some jealousy, but some of you might consider it cheating since Lib kisses JC while she is in a "relationship" with someone else. I didn't mind in this case because she didn't really want the other guy. This book wasn't the best way to end the series out the Rousseaus siblings in my opinion. I wasn't a big fan of JC, but the flashbacks and Lib kind of saved the day.
