Review: Take it All Off by Weston Parker

🔥🔥 HOT NEW RELEASE 🔥🔥
Take It All Off by Weston Parker is #LIVE! One-click today!

BLURB   I got my big break in an Italian strip club. I'm not even kidding. All I've wanted was to travel the world and have enough money to do it. Simple, right? Wrong. Florence has become a second home to me. I'm in love with the city and everything it has to offer, but it hasn't really loved me back. Making enough money to travel isn't an issue when you don't even have enough to make rent. But then I meet a sexy, mysterious man. Yes, in a strip club. Crazier than that, he offers me a job. I can even keep my clothes on in this one. It'd be crazy to refuse him. Even if being attracted to one's boss can never be a good idea. One little snag: he thinks I'm gay. I'm not, as he comes to find out. Marco and I work well together, and we play well together. But we can't be together, not really. Because Florence is my second home, but it's not my home. Italian mothers aren't like American mothers, and this little snag isn't going to be as easy to clear up. Neither is going to be explaining not one, but two little heartbeats that just popped up on the doctor's monitor.

Review:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Take it ALL Off is a stand-alone novel by Weston Parker. One thing I would like to address is that the pregnancy doesn't happen until almost the end of the book. It kinda spoils the whole thing. I gotta say that what happens after the reveal was just ridiculous and it ruined my reading.

The book started of as most romance novels do and I mean that in a good way. I was liking what I was reading and the kind of relationship Addy and Marco had was working for me. I was liking the book more than I expected and that means a lot, considering that I do not like most of the books I read these days.

Buuut then, Marco's mom came into the picture, and honestly, I haven't seen such a bad character in a while. Italian moms might be over the top, but there is no way that her behavior would be so easily accepted by the others. I don't know how Addy was able to see her for a second time after the stunt she pulled. And you would think that was the worse thing in the book, but nope that came when Addy found that she was pregnant.

I really get some of her feelings because Marco didn't have the best reaction in the world, but the rest of it were simply soap opera worthy to a cringe level. Αddy (and the book) lost me as a supporter there. More than a week later and that scene in the hospital is still carved in my mind.

Overall though, I have to say that I enjoyed the book. The actual rating is 3.5 stars, but I am rounding up to 4 on Amazon and GR because I feel like this novel deserves a chance. On a final note, I have to say that I want Addy's brother to get a book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Hey there. I'm Weston. Have we met? No? Well it’s time to end that tragedy. I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, a dog and a turtle. Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don’t be jealous. You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness. Something for everyone, hopefully.   AUTHOR LINKS   Website: www.westonparkerbooks.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/thewestonparker Facebook: https://facebook.com/WestonParkerAuthor/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/weston_parker_author/
