Some of you, like me, might be unaware that Flame is not a stand-alone book. It ends with a cliffhanger (a mild one) and Gigi and Pike's story will continue on the second book which is called Burn. The thing I expect the most from the second book is a statement about Pike's "romantic" life in the 15 months he and Gigi were not living in the same town.

You see, Pike and Gigi met 15 months before the main story began, they spent some time together, to put it mildly (because Amazon doesn't like the dirty words), Gigi kinda run away and all that time later date brought them back together. Gigi says that she hasn't been with anyone to her friend and Pike overhears it, but he doesn't mention anything about sleeping with other women and he doesn't say if he did. I don't think I missed the sentence where Pike clarifies his celibacy status. I really hope that he didn't actually do anything with some other woman.

I liked the rest of the story and I am looking forward to the second book. Despite the way it ended, I feel like our characters are in a good place and I want to see how the danger will be handled. Something big is coming our way. I would recommend the book!.
