3:AM kisses by Addison Moore

Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Publication Date September 17th 2013

Blurb:

Baya Brighton is looking forward to her first year at Whitney Briggs University, new friends, dorm life, and finally being close to her brother again. Love is the last thing on the list, but when Baya meets her brother’s roommate she begins to have thoughts and feelings that make even her blush.

Bryson Edwards has a secret he prefers buried in the past and long forgotten. He prefers loose girls, fast cars, and long nights working at the string of bars his family owns. When his roommate’s sister shows up on the scene, she’s far too innocent and sweet for him but he can’t shake Baya out of his mind and worse, it looks like she’s seeping into his heart as well.

Baya seems determined to show her brother she’s not a little kid and equally determined to use Bryson’s body to prove her point. It’s been made pretty clear that Baya is off limits to Bryson but their undeniable sparks explode into a whole lot more than just a few 3:AM KISSES.

Review:

I wasn't sure about my rating when I finished the book. Actually I still am. You see there was a huge part of the book that I disliked but I don't think that everyone will. Bryson and Baya were too horny for my taste. And her vocabulary when it came to his male parts (Baya's words) were the ones that someone would have used 10+ years before. A cucumber? A branch? Baya's experience (and inexperience I will add) were a little confusing. And Bryson was talking about the little Bryson (I am trying to keep this rated PG 13) a lot in the beginning. Also why everyone seemed to be busy with getting to know the other in the biblical sense and no one was studying? They were in college after all. It seems that Baya went to S**ville. Also I found offending the marks on the wall and the hypocrisy from Cole's side

What I liked the most and saved the book in my opinion was the redemption Bryson found in the end. He was able to let the past go and live a happy life. It was a perfect. I could read the book again only for this.

The book had a great potential and if wasn't for the reasons above I might have given it a 5 star rating.
