Review:
Fleeting moments pulled me in different directions with each chapter I was reading. At first I was worried that the biggest problem in this book would be Lucy cheating on her husband. Turns out that she doesn't cheat on him. Then I was worried about Lucy's mental state. I wasn't sure if the man she was talking about was real or just her imagination trying to help her cope with everything that happen to her. After that a different kind of plot started to develop due to Lucy's actions. I feel like the book was divided into two parts. The first part is about Lucy's savior and the second is about what she got into in her quest to find him. I wish I could explain more, but you have to read the book to find out what Bella Jewel has planned out for Lucy. Fleeting moments are different from the authors other works, but it's a great book. It effed up my mind and kept me alert. This book is not just about romance. It's about those fleeting moments in our lives that define us and make us who we are.
I liked Lucy. She was too stubborn to give up, but that made her fight even more for what she wanted. She wasn't doing whatever people were telling her to do. The thing that kept bothering me for a while is Lucy and her husband. I was thinking that he gave up too fast too easily, but that marriage was broken and over a long time ago before the events of the book started.
I would love to revisit this world. I have four characters in mind that I would love to see getting a happy ending. But I also feel like this book should be a stand alone novel. The author knows the best and I can't wait to see what her next will be.
