Would he still love her…if he
knew?
Tanner Hayes smashed Claire's life
to pieces when he chose the rodeo over her ten years ago. And now he'd wrecked
her truck! Fantastic. She'd lost her husband, the family ranch was mired in
debt, her father was recuperating from a stroke and her son was being bullied.
Why not throw a reckless bull rider into the mix?
All she'd wanted was a safe, stable
life. But with Tanner back in town—and staying on her ranch—nothing was safe,
or under control. Not the feelings she'd fought so hard to forget. Not the son
she was determined to protect. And certainly not her long-held secret…

Review:
I am always in for a romance where a child is involved. I enjoy the angsty parts of the story the most and I thought that I was going to get my fill of the angst with this book but unfortunately that did not happen.
I was tired of Claire's overprotectiveness and I really wanted to smack her in the head just in case it made her see things clearly. The one thing that comes to my mind when I think of this book is the frustration I felt. It wasn't a big part of the storyline, but every time it was popping up I was getting more and more done with the book.
I did finish it though and I didn't put too much effort into that, which was a good thing and it gave a little boost to my final rating
I wanted to see the characters develop and grow into some better version of themselves, but I didn't get much of that.
Some flashbacks would have been nice in order to make the reader feel more comfortable with the characters and their history.
I am not sure if I am going to recommend this book. I believe it could have been better. I wasn't sold of the hero and he never came close to winning me over.
