Unfortunately, she has to rely on ex-Russian spy Nikolai Jovec's six-foot-something of gorgeous, infuriating hotness. Review:

I am a big fan of the Keepers of the veil series, but I am not sure what to make of this book. This review is me trying to decide what my feelings are about it. This is a stand alone book, but in the end I couldn't help but feel that it ended in a cliffy way. I want the next book now! I don't know whose story is going to be, but I hope for some answers.

After reading the blurb I was expecting more angst and a lot more jealousy from Nick's side, but what I got was a heroine whines making the wrong choices and was begin me to slap some sense into her. It was a little tiring, to be honest. There is a balance between the romance and the rest of the things that are happening which was nice and it made the book more enjoyable.

Once Jennifer accepted that Owen wasn't her destined guy and gave in Nicks advances things got so much better. It was surprising how many faced were familiar with the characters on the island where the show was taking place. I never realized how many resources these people had. I think that the better part of the book overcame the bad and that's why I am giving 4 stars to the book and a recommendation.
Zoe Forward Bio: Zoe Forward is a hopeless romantic who can’t decide between paranormal and contemporary romance. So, she writes both. In addition to being a mom to one rambunctious kindergartener and wife to a conservation ecologist who plans to save all the big cats on the planet, she’s a small animal veterinarian caring for all the small furries, although there is the occasional hermit crab.
When she’s not typing at her laptop she’s tying on a karate belt for her son or cleaning up the newest pet mess from the menagerie that occupies her house. She’s madly in love with her globe trotting husband of ten years and happiest when he returns to their home base in North Carolina.
