About CARESS OF Pleasure

I'd thought that he was mine, the dark, arresting man who commanded not only my body but my heart. Dante had swept into my life, and I'd succumbed to the burn of passion in his arms.
I'd believed we had a love that would last forever, but he'd shattered my dreams and broken me into pieces when he'd walked away, taking a piece of my soul with him. Now he has come back seeking my help, and though I try to keep my distance and protect my heart, I cannot deny that the fire between us burns hotter than ever. And I cannot help but fear that this time our passion will reduce us both to ashes.

Review:

The romantic side of the story is quite satisfying. It was angst-y and it was interesting. The relationship between the two characters was established 13 years ago. Their happy ending was good and as I usually do, I wanted an epilogue for them even if it happened a short time later, i.e. two weeks or a month. The end, as it is in the book was quite nice.

I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because while (as I mentioned above) liked the romance part of the story, I found the action side lacking. The undercover operation and the execution of the plan were done a little too fast for my liking. I would have preferred a longer book and a more developed book in the action department. That was the only thing I didn't like in the book.

Caress of Pleasure is the first book I read in the series and I don't think it will be the last. I liked the paranormal aspect of the story and I am curious about the other characters. I would recommend this book to anyone.
